Almost a century
of good games.
Sometime in the 1940s, my uncle came home from Japan with a set of games and gave them to me as a gift.
I didn't think much of it then. We just played them. The photo here is of me playing quite some time ago, I won't say exactly when (I don't remember!).
They followed me from house to house, through years and years of use. They were always the ones we came back to.
Later on, we thought we'd find them again, another set, just like them. But we never did.
About twenty years ago, we even tried to remake them ourselves, but with two kids under ten and full-time jobs, we ran out of time.
Now the kids are trying again, and they seem determined to share them with the world. So lucky you.
